Though traditionally the HQ for Air command, the recent redevelopment of RAF High Wycombe has made it a significant centre for cyber and space operations: The recently re-formed RAF No.11 Group has been charged with co-ordinating cyber operations; and, as part of the government's new defence strategy, it has been expanded to create the National Air & Space Operations Centre (NASOC).
