The ‘Subject Index’ is a collection of categorized keywords with links to the occurrence of those terms right across the FRAW site. Other parts of the FRAW site have their own independent indexes; this index merges them all into one global subject index for FRAW.
Note: To access the alphabetic pages of the BOKK Subject Index, use the navigation bar at the foot of the screen.
One of the major changes with the revision of the entire FRAW site has been the numbering of every paragraph, image, and quote within each article or page. This means that the content of the entire site can now be accessed via keyword links – adding a more ‘intelligent’ and anonymous approach to indexing the site without the energy & privacy overheads of search engines, web crawlers, and databases.
The floating bar at the foot of the screen links the alphabetic listings of keywords. Each keyword contains a list of links to the most relevant occurrence of that term across the FRAW site. The lines of the subject index take the following format:
Keyword – {author/work}, {references} ⇒ {see also}, {BOKK Library}, {off-site links}.
Where a keyword is a name or the title of a work, the ‘author/work’ part links to that author’s name, or to a list of their other referenced works.
Reference links across the FRAW site have general format ‘SSS-NNN/XXX’ – where:
The ‘⇒’ symbol, usually followed by a list of links, denotes links to other related subjects or resources. See also is a list of other keywords from the Subject Index that relate to the term. Links to the BOKK Glossary, Issues, Jurnals, and Organizations pages are also listed here. Finally off-site links to Wikipedia and other information sources are listed at the end of the line.
If you wish to link directly to a specific part of a page, or to an item in the subject index, copy and use the relevant link.
We have no objection to these bookmarks being used as links to any content on the FRAW site. However, if you wish to use the information itself please refer to the relevant copyright/open licensing page for that part of the FRAW site.
